Colton Robert Hernley, age 4, of McCandless PA passed away December 29, 2024. Cherished son of Kevin and Kristin Hernley. He was the loving brother of Declan Hernley (2); beloved grandson of Sharon Morgan, Dale and Candace Hernley, and Kenneth Morgan. He is survived by his great grandmothers Sara Hernley and Deborah Morgan. Colton was loved by all his aunts, uncles, and cousins: Jenn and Ben Pleunik (Hannah and Marin), Julie and John Fennell (Ian, Colin, and Jameson), Brandan Morgan and Christina Moreschi, Keith Hernley, and Kaitlyn and Tyler Morgan (Lillian), Heather and Charles Kern, Lauren and Keith McChristian(Baby Boy McChristian), Kayla and Logan Flint (Matthew, Noah, and Hailey), Raymond Duer and Blake Rosenthal, Sarah Duer, James Duer, Jennifer Duer, Ryan Wolfe, and Michael Wolfe, Heather and Reber Cribb, Tyler and Abigail Hernley (Spencer, Palmer, Cooper), Robert and Heather Slagle (Ethan and Logan), Matthew and Audrey Zalar (Clara Joy), and Zach and Meghan Zalar. He was a very loved grand nephew to Rose Montgomery, Gary Slagle, Cindy and Tony Zalar, Dan and Rosella Hernley, Raymond Posey Jr., Robert Posey, Janis Posey, Patricia and David Carter, and Linda Wolfe.
Colton loved to play outside and had an incredible imagination. He loved to read, mix paints, and scroll through our pictures in the Family Album app. His favorite shows were Ms. Rachel and Pinkfong, and loved dancing and singing to them. Colton was such a loving boy and touched so many with his bright smile and infectious laugh. He will always be remembered and not a day will go by that he won't be missed.
Family and friends will be received at Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, PA 15116 on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 11a.m.-12 p.m., with a Blessing Service immediately following at 12p.m. held in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Watson Institute LEAP Preschool where Colton had the best days and big smiles with his favorite teacher Ms. Chris (Christine Kunkle).
