Catherine T. (Gamelier) Murphy, age 96, formerly of Hampton, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. She was born on June 29, 1921 in Pittsburgh, PA., daughter of the late Joseph and Ida (Palila) Gamelier.

Throughout her life, Catherine was a homemaker, an avid gardener, and assisted with Meals on Wheels for over 27 years.

Left to cherish her memory are; her children, Linda Murphy Szymanski and Kathleen Murphy Lucciola (Sam); her grandchildren, Walter Szymanski (Heather), Mary Szymanski Ahern (Quintin), and Kelly Beegle (Michael); and a great grandson, Coltyn Beegle.

In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Murphy; a son-in-law, Walter Szymanski Jr. and eight siblings.

Friends will be received in the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, Inc. 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw, PA. 15116 on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 10AM until 2PM. A Blessing Service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will be private.
