Carol Marie Cunningham, 70, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. She was born on December 10, 1952, in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of the late Walter and Clara (Dziadosz) Gardocki.

Carol is survived by her Son, Brian (Sommer) Cunningham; siblings, Barbara (David) Leach, Martin (Linda) Gardocki; as well as five loving nieces and nephews, Lindsay (Michael) Sparks, Eric Leach, Ryan Leach, Jayme Leach, and Jeffery (Sarah) Gardocki.  She is also survived by six grand-nieces and nephews, and by many good friends.

Carol worked for many years as an examiner for the National Credit Union Administration from which she recently retired.  She enjoyed travel, sightseeing, amusement parks and internet shopping, and was particularly fond of Myrtle Beach, Niagara Falls, the PA Maple Festival, and Kennywood Park.

Carol loved spending time with her family and friends, especially during the holidays. The memories that Carol shared with her family and friends will last for eternity and be cherished forever.

Family and friends will be received at Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, PA, on Monday, August 07, 2023, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A Funeral Service will be held the following day, on Tuesday, August 08, 2023, at 11am in the funeral home chapel with Ken Hasselrig officiating.
