Brian J. Steckel, 65, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023. He was born on,
February 27, 1957, in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late Joseph T. Steckel and Jean (Macioce)
Steckel.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Andrea Steckel; three children, Ashley Steckel,
Bradley (Kristen) Steckel, Brett (Elise) Steckel; his brother, Bruce (Katie) Steckel; one nephew,
David Steckel; one niece Yuki Adams and one sister-in- law, Michiko Adams.

In addition to his parents, Joseph and Jean (Macioce) Steckel, his brother Barry Steckel, preceded
him in death.

Brian had a life long love of hockey, especially the Pittsburgh Penguins. He enjoyed all Duquesne
University Sports. He was a loving husband, father and had a special bond and unconditional love
for his Siamese cats. The Steckel family wanted to give a special thank you to Enhabit Home
Health Care and Hospice for the care they provided to Brian over the last year.

Family and friends will be received at Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, Inc. 2702 Mt. Royal.
Glenshaw, PA., on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 10a.m -1 p.m. The Funeral Service will
immediately follow in the funeral home chapel at 1p.m.

Interment will be held privately at Mt Royal Cemetery, Glenshaw PA.
