Blair Wright, age 65, of Pittsburgh, PA passed away on June 18th, 2024. He was the cherished husband of Teri Lyn; loving father of Brittany Lee and Brianne Nicole Wright; Proud grandfather of Jaiden and Talyn Miller; Son of the late Gilbert T Wright and Rita Jeanne Lee-Wright. He was the loving brother of Dianna Wright-Thomas, Gilbert Wright, Jonathan Wright, David Wright, Jacqueline Wright-McMillan, and Curtis Pinkney. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, brothers and sisters in law, and many friends. He is the nephew of the late Johnnie Lee and Gregory Lee and his stepfather the late Mr. Ezell all of whom he adored.

Blair worked as a supervisor at the University of Pittsburgh. Blair leaves behind many great memories of his time spent at Pitt. Blair enjoyed watching wrestling matches, Steeler and Pirate games, and older films and television programs. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Blair had two beautiful daughters, grandchildren, and his loyal canine companion Kingston that he adored spending quality time with. Blairs talents were many, his love, patience, and words of wisdom will live on inside of us forever. He was the guiding light in our lives and today we are reminded how lucky we are to have him as long as we did. Blairs amazing sense of humor was one of a kind, he enjoyed entertaining his loved ones.

Blair will be remembered for his outstanding personality and big heart which strengthened and empowered all who he encountered. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, but the thing about Blair is that he never wanted things to end or to say goodbye, in which when we would tell him goodbye, he replied with see you soon.

He was a great man, spouse, and the best father a daughter could have. Blair will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. Through our tears, let us see the blessings of knowing and loving Blair.

Arrangements by Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home. A private gathering was held for Blair with his family. Interment at Mt Royal Cemetery.
