Obituary

Betty M. Perry, 77, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023. She was born on January 18, 1946, in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of the late William Meier and Irene (Glatz) Meier.

Betty is survived by her loving husband, Robert Perry; children, Tony (Donna) Ross, Irene Willis, Scott (Jane) Perry and Denise Perry; two sisters, Nancy (Dave) Reeder and Lois (Dean) Nedimyer; numerous grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She is reunited with her siblings, Irene (Lou) Harvatin, Mary (Ray) Gibson, Wilma Meier, and William Meier who preceded her in death.

Betty was a caring, loving and compassionate woman. She loved her family, children, and grandchildren more than words could ever describe. She was a woman of many talents and hobbies such as gardening, exercise, yoga, going on walks, loud music, baking, and cooking for her family. She was famous for her "Oma cookies", which were her most coveted treat.

Betty was a devoted woman of God. When she wasn't in her garden, she spent time reading the bible. She never failed to light up a room with her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. She will always be remembered for the love she shared, her beautiful blue eyes, and sparkling smile. We will miss you mom, but we find comfort knowing you are now home with our Father in Heaven.

Funeral arrangements were held privately. Inurnment will be held at Mount Royal Cemetery.
