IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bette Joan
Larson
January 18, 1931 – June 22, 2022
Bette Joan Larson passed on June 22, 2022. She was 91 years young. Survived by her sister Lois Loch,
her brother Tom Rudolph (Evelyn), her daughters Joan Dieffenbach (Dave) and Karen Muchmore (Greg)
with four grandchildren Tyler Muchmore, Sam Muchmore (Tara), Josh LeCuru (Anne Marie), Laura
Wertman (Michael) and five great grandchildren who called her "GG" along with many nieces and
nephews. Her husband, Jim, a decorated Marine, preceded her in death 17 years ago. A grandson, Seth
Muchmore also preceded her death 34 years ago.
Bette was an avid church goer and member of the Trinity Lutheran church in State College. She always
looked forward to the family picnics, card games, watching the Steelers and Pirates, but most of all, she
loved babysitting the grandchildren and great grandchildren. She faced her passing in a fearless manner
because of her faith in our God. In lieu of flowers any donations can be made to the Trinity Lutheran
Church in her name. 2221 North Oak Lane, State College, PA 16803.
