Alan Gray, age 75, of Allison Park, PA., passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at his home. Alan was born on September 6, 1940 in Pittsburgh, PA., son of the late Samuel and Mary Dolores (Grubbs) Gray.

Throughout his life, Alan was a member of the U.S. Army, where served in the 82nd Airborne as a paratrooper. He was an English teacher for the Shaler Area School District for 35 years, where he also coached basketball, softball, and wrestling. Alan was inducted into the Shaler Sports Hall of Fame as both a player and coach.

Left to cherish Alan''s memory are; his wife of 15 years, Doreen Behr Gray; his children, David Gray (Lisa), Mark Gray (Anna), and Sharon Gray Mayer; six grandchildren, Gavin, Taylar, Luke, Joey, Mark and Olivia; and three siblings, Dr. Samuel Gray (Bill), Alice Fieldhouse (Larry), and Roxanne Macel (Joe).

Friends will be received in the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, Inc. 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw, PA., on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from 11:00 AM until 12:00PM
A Funeral Service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will be held privately.
